Two great events are coming up for women in STEM!
These events are FREE and are open to students, faculty, and staff.
1) “Participation of Women in Science: Problems and Solutions“ – a presentation and breakout group discussion led by Dr. Carol Gross (University of California San Francisco). Co-sponsored by CSME, Curie Club, and ACCESS.

2) “U Can Change the World” – a keynote and networking workshop led by Jill Tietjen, author, speaker, and electrical engineer. Organized by the student chapters of WIM (Women in Mining) and WIE (Women in Engineering), and co-sponsored by College of Mines and Earth Sciences, College of Engineering, Office of Engagement, Career Services, and Office of Equity and Diversity, and CSME.
