New report from National Academy of Sciences – Barriers and Opportunities for 2-Year and 4-Year STEM Degrees

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine appointed the Committee on Barriers and Opportunities in Completing 2-Year and 4-Year STEM Degrees to address the barriers that prevent undergraduate students from earning STEM degrees and to identify opportunities to promote degree completion.

The final report (“Barriers and Opportunities for 2-Year and 4-Year STEM Degrees: Systemic Change to Support Students’ Diverse Pathways”) was released earlier this month and will be of interest to a variety of stakeholders in the STEM education field.
