On February 1, 2017, the REFUGES afterschool and Saturday programs celebrated and honored student participants for their time, effort, and dedication. Over 100 students and parents attended the celebration event at the University of Utah’s Natural History Museum. Certificates of achievement were awarded at the event to 33 students. While many REFUGES seniors are still awaiting college admission decisions, 25 have been accepted to the University of Utah.
