The Salt Lake Valley Science & Engineering Fair (SLVSEF) was held in March 2017 at Rice-Eccles Stadium; 6 top projects progressed to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles in May.

 

We are pleased to announce that four SLVSEF students won awards at ISEF.  Alex Sun, Hillcrest High School, and Emma Sun, Waterford School, took 2^nd place in their category of Behavioral and Social Science, Alex Cheng, Hillcrest High School, took 3^rd place in his category of Biomedical Engineering, and Tanisha Martheswaran, Waterford School, took 4^th place in her category of Environmental Engineering.

 

Evan Culer and Isaac Christensen won an honorable mention at  I-SWEEEP in Houston, Texas on May 6.  They are students at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education.
