Upcoming Women in STEM events


Two great events are coming up for women in STEM!

These events are FREE and are open to students, faculty, and staff.

 

1) Participation of Women in Science: Problems and Solutions – a presentation and breakout group discussion led by Dr. Carol Gross (University of California San Francisco). Co-sponsored by CSME, Curie Club, and ACCESS.

2) “U Can Change the World” – a keynote and networking workshop led by Jill Tietjen, author, speaker, and electrical engineer. Organized by the student chapters of WIM (Women in Mining) and WIE (Women in Engineering), and co-sponsored by College of Mines and Earth Sciences, College of Engineering, Office of Engagement, Career Services, and Office of Equity and Diversity, and CSME.
